Sports Massage
Nottingham & Lincoln Clinics
Your body is unique, so our sports massage treatments are individual and tailored to you. We will complete a subjective history and objective assessment to effectively treat your presenting issue(s) and understand the root cause. Depending on your goals with treatment we will discuss recovery timeline including sessions required and mobility/ strengthening plan to go away with.
Sports massage is a firm treatment; however, as treatment is individualised, pressure is also tailored to a client's needs, tolerance and comfort. Although a sports massage can be uncomfortable in some areas, it shouldn't be painful. We advise that clients' discomfort should stay below approximately 7/10, therefore using an individual measure to stay within a client's threshold.
As commonly thought, you do not need to participate in exercise to benefit from a sports massage.
