No two bodies are the same, so our sports massage treatments are individual and tailored to you and your goals. We will complete a subjective history and objective assessment to effectively treat your presenting issue(s) and understand the root cause. 

Sports massage is a firm treatment; however, as treatment is individualised, pressure is also tailored to a client's needs, tolerance and comfort. Although a sports massage can be uncomfortable in some areas, it shouldn't be painful. We advise that clients' discomfort should stay below approximately 7/10, therefore using an individual measure to stay within a client's threshold.

As commonly thought, you do not need to participate in exercise to benefit from a sports massage.

  • Improve mobility and flexibility

  • Reduce pain and improve pain tolerance

  • Treat and prevent injuries

  • Increases blood circulation and lymphatic drainage

  • Aid recovery

  • Improve posture

  • Promote relaxation (usually those who have regular treatment)

Some reasons people have sports massage:

  • Muscular pain

  • Lower back pain

  • Shoulder and neck pain

  • Sciatica

  • Sprains or Strains

  • Tennis or Golfer's elbow

  • Runners knee

  • Rehabilitation after surgery

  • Shin splints

  • Foot pain

Treatment times are 30, 45 or 60 minutes - with the option of booking a longer treatment.
